Australian Development Grants (ADS)

The Australia Development Scholarship Awards for Developing Countries (Asia-Pacific, Africa, Middle East, Caribbean, Latin America) is an Australian government initiative aimed at maximizing the benefits of the Australian Government’s extensive scholarship programs and supporting lasting ties between Australia and neighboring African and developing countries. ADSs are available for postgraduate or full-time master’s studies at Australian universities. Application for scholarship The deadline is between March and May of each year depending on the country.

Australian Leadership Scholarships (ALA)

The Australian Leadership Award Scholarships (ALA Scholarships) are long-term development scholarships, aimed at addressing priority areas of development by strengthening leadership and creating partnerships and links within developing countries. Up to 200 ALA scholarships are available each year for high-performance candidates wishing to undertake postgraduate studies (master’s or doctorate level) in an Australian higher education institution.

The Australian Leadership Awards (ALA) are aimed at developing leadership, solving priority regional development issues and creating partnerships and links between Australian and partner organizations in developing countries in the Asia-Pacific region, Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, and the Middle East.

Endeavor Award

The Endeavor Scholarships are an annual merit-based scholarship program offered by the Australian government to provide financial aid opportunities to international students from the Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas to undertake studies, research and professional development in Australia. Prices are also available for Australians undertaking studies, research and professional development abroad.

Prime Minister’s Pacific-Australia Award

The Prime Minister’s Pacific-Australia Awards (PMPA Awards) are awarded to recipients of long-term development scholarships (Australian Development Scholarships and Australian Leadership Award Scholarships) from the Pacific, Papua New Guinea and East Timor, which are leaders or potential leaders in their country.

Australian Regional Development Grants (ARDS) for selected developing countries

Australian regional development scholarships offer students from selected developing countries the opportunity to study at selected educational institutions outside of Australia. The purpose of the scholarships is to enable the beneficiaries to acquire knowledge and skills which will help the development of their country of origin. Eligible country for the scholarship Include; the Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu
