FCE Eha-Ahumu Post UTME, Direct Entry, Pre-NCE Screening Form 2019/2020

The Federal College of Education, Eha-Amufu, Enugu State (FCE Eha-Ahumu) invites applications from all prospective Degree, Direct Entry, NCE and Pre-NCE candidates for admission into the 2019/2020 academic session as follows:

A. Degree Programme (in affiliation with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka)
(i) Direct Entry
(ii) UTME
(iii) Sandwich Degree (with effect from 2020 academic session)
B. NCE (Regular and Sandwich)
C. PRE-NCE (One year only)
Those who did not choose the College are advised to do change of institution
A. Degree Programme (in affiliation with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka)
Degree Programme durations:
(i) Four (4) years for candidates through JAMB – UTME,
(ii) Three (3) years for candidates through Direct Entry in Regular Programmes.
(iii) Five Long Vacation for Sandwich candidates (to commence in the 2020 academic session)
The Courses offered in the Degree Programme in the College are:

  3. Social Studies, B.Ed.
  4. Education/Economics, B.Sc. (Ed.)
  5. Education/Physics, B.Sc. (Ed.)
  6. Education/Mathematics, B.Sc. (Ed.)
  7. Education/Chemistry, B.Sc. (Ed.)
  8. Education/Biology, B.Sc. (Ed.)
  9. Integrated Science, B.Ed.
  10. Education/Agriculture, B.Sc. (Ed.)
  11. Business Education, B.Ed.

Degree Programme Admission Requirements

  • Federal College of Education, Eha-Amufu, Enugu State (in affiliation with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka) requires all candidates applying for admission into any of its degree courses to possess five credit “O” level passes which must include a credit pass in English Language and a Science subject in not more than two sittings.
  • Entry requirement for Direct Entry must include UTME requirement for that particular course.
  • Prospective candidates for the College should also visit UNN website: www.unn.edu.ng for more information.

The acceptable Science subjects are:

All candidates whether the College is your initial choice of institution or not, are eligible to apply for the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) Screening test provided he/she scored 180 & above for Degree and 100 & above for NCE programmes. Those who did not choose the College are advised to effect change of Institution/Course to FCE, Eha-Amufu on the JAMB portal immediately.

Method of Application

  1. Visit the College degree programme website at https://www.degreeportal.fceeaamufu.com
  2. Click the Application forms link from the home page and then click on Post-UTME Admission screening Application to generate invoice for Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) and also fill the application form with all the required uploads.
  3. Proceed to any Bank and make payment with the generated invoice.
  4. Come back to the Portal after Payment AND click on Existing Applicant Login link.
  5. Supply your Username and Password (created while filling the application form).
  6. Print your Acknowledgement and E-Registration slips.
  7. Submit a copy of the photocopies of the print outs with credentials to the Directorate of Degree
  8. Programme, in the College on the day of the screening examination.



(i) 3 years for regular students (ii) 5 Long Vacations for Sandwich students


a) A Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSC), NECO, or GCE O’ Level with FOUR credits at a maximum of two sittings including English Language and Mathematics. Two of the Credits must be relevant to the course the candidate wishes to offer.
b) A Grade II Teacher’s Certificate (TC II) with credit or merit in FOUR subjects including English and Mathematics. Two of which must be relevant to the course the candidate wishes to offer as his/her
c) For candidates wishing to offer courses in Vocational and Technical Education; RSA or City and Guilds Intermediate Certificate, and the Federal craft training certificate (FCTC) with credit/merit in at least FOUR subjects, are acceptable qualifications.
d) Associateship Certificate in Education awarded by an approved institution in Nigeria or abroad, is also an acceptable qualification.
e) All candidates wishing to be considered for admission must enroll for and pass the selection examination organized by an accredited body such as JAMB and the College.



  1. Visit the College portal – www.fceehaamufu.com.
  2. Click on ‘Admission Screening Application Link’.
  3. Enter relevant information on the page displayed and Click ‘Create Profile Button. Take note of your
    Username and Password.
  4. Upon successful creation of profile, click ‘Continue’ button.
  5. Confirm the Payment information Displayed and Click ‘Generate Invoice’ button.
  6. Remita Payment Invoice is generated with Instruction of the next line of action for the Applicant.
  7. Proceed to any bank and make payment.
  8. Come back to the Portal after payment and Click on ‘Existing Applicant login link’.
  9. Supply your Username and Password (Created in step 3 above) and click ‘Login button’
  10. Upload your Passport and fill the application Form including upload of your JAMB Result, O’ Level
    Result and Birth Certificate.

11. Print your acknowledgement and E-Registration slips.


Applications are hereby invited from qualified candidates for admission into the ONE YEAR Pre-NCE programme courses in the Federal College of Education, Eha-Amufu.

Entry Qualifications:

(i) A holder of Senior Secondary School Examination (WASC/NECO or NABTEB with 3 Credits and 2 passes including English Language in not more than two sittings. Two of the credits must be in the relevant areas of proposed course of study.
(ii) A holder of TC II with 3 credits/merits in the relevant areas and some passes including English Language.
(iii) The form is obtainable from the Bursary Department, Federal College of Education, Eha-Amufu at the cost of Three Thousand, Naira (N3,000) only. Details of courses available and mode of
submission is attached to the form.


Prospective candidates who wish to study in FCE, Eha-Amufu are eligible to apply for Post-UTME registration even if they did not choose FCE, Eha-Amufu as their choice of institution. Nevertheless, such candidates must effect Change of Institution/Course to FCE, Eha-Amufu on the JAMB Portal
immediately. This is also applicable to Direct Entry (DE) candidates.

  1. Successful candidates who may be offered provisional admission to Federal College of Education,
    Eha-Amufu are advised to accept the offer immediately to avoid loss of the admission.
  2. All candidates are advised to use the same phone number(s) and email address used during JAMB
    registration for easy communication.


Prospective candidates for NCE programme should commence online registration immediately, for Post
UTME on the College portal while prospective candidates for the Degree programme will commence Post
UTME registration on the College portal with effect from August 01, 2019 for a soon – to be – scheduled screening test to be announced.
